Injuries are a natural part of the fight game but sadly the much anticipated “Battle for Gothenburg” has once again been post-ponded. Nicholas Bryant was slated to face Sam Ghoroghi for the vacant lightweight title at Muay Thai for Life 12, but has been forced out due to injury. Now Ghoroghi will instead face Slovakian powerhouse Rastislav Klimacek! in the new MTFL 12 main event!
MTFL 12 goes down at the Rondo Theatre in Gothenburg on May 10th.
Ghoroghi is the number two-ranked lightweight in MTFL with three straight wins, including one knockout win and most recently defeated Sam Wingqvist at MTFL 8. Klimacek is a highly credentialled, multiple time Slovakian Muay Thai and K1 champion, as well as a reigning champion in the well-respected PML promotion.
Adding to the fight card the co-main event will surely get the crowd going.
Gothenburg fan favourite Nasim “The Matrix” Kazem is hack following his astounding MTFL return against the above mentioned Wingqvist. He will be taking on Colombian bruiser and former MTFL title challenger Nico Sanabria in a fight that has been called “The most violent match up of the year”.
